Welcome to The Strength Lab, where medicine meets fitness. This is Regina’s first private fitness centre of its kind. Our team of exercise physiologists will help guide you with evidenced-base rehab programming and our classes are specially tailored to you and your special needs.
Whether you have encountered some health related challenges such as heart disease, diabetes, multiple sclerosis, Parkinson’s, arthritis, or perhaps you have tried many other programs and are looking for supervision, guidance, motivation, and a little bit of accountability? CLASSES
LIFE CARE
LIFE CARE is a supervised exercise program designed for individuals with cardiac conditions and chronic health concerns. This class focuses on improving strength, cardiovascular fitness, and confidence in movement through personalized programming in a safe, supportive environment.
All sessions are overseen by a certified exercise physiologist with specialized training, ensuring each participant receives appropriate guidance and monitoring. An individual assessment is required prior to starting the class to tailor the program to each person’s needs and ensure safety.
Breast Cancer RECOVER
Breast Cancer RECOVER is a specialized class designed for individuals who have undergone treatment for breast cancer. This class focuses on rebuilding strength, confidence, and movement in a safe, supportive environment guided by rehabilitation professionals.
All participants are required to complete an individual assessment prior to starting the class to ensure the program is appropriate, personalized, and safe for their specific needs.
OPEN GYM
Open Gym is a semi-supervised training hour that gives clients access to our facility and equipment to complete their own programming in a supportive environment. Participants may choose to follow the workout of the day or complete an individualized program of their own.
These sessions are monitored by a kinesiologist, providing on-site support and oversight while allowing clients the independence to train at their own pace. For those unsure where to start or looking for a structured plan, an exercise therapy assessment with program design is recommended to ensure exercises are appropriate, effective, and aligned with personal goals.
INDIVIDUAL SERVICES

An Exercise Therapy Assessment is a 60-minute one-on-one session designed to understand your health history, movement needs, and personal goals so your exercise plan is safe, effective, and tailored to you.
During the assessment, a qualified clinician will review your medical background, discuss current symptoms or limitations, and assess how your body moves. This may include strength, mobility, balance, cardiovascular tolerance, and functional movement testing, depending on your needs.
As part of this assessment, you will also receive a personalized exercise program design. This program is created based on your assessment findings and goals and may be used independently, during Open Gym sessions, or as part of ongoing rehabilitation or follow-up care. The clinician will review the program with you to ensure you feel confident performing the exercises safely and correctly.
This assessment helps ensure your exercise approach is appropriate for your body, reduces the risk of injury, and supports long-term progress.
Pricing: $130 (60 minutes)

A Follow-Up Exercise Therapy Session is a 30-minute one-on-one appointment designed to review your current exercise program, monitor progress, and make appropriate updates based on how your body is responding.
During this session, your clinician will assess changes in symptoms, strength, movement, and tolerance to exercise. Your program will be adjusted or rebuilt as needed to ensure it remains aligned with your goals, current abilities, and recovery or health status.
Follow-up sessions can be booked as needed or used for ongoing, recurring visits to support continued progression, accountability, and safe long-term exercise. These sessions help ensure your program evolves with you and continues to support confidence, safety, and results.

Personal Training offers one-on-one, recurring training sessions designed to support your individual goals through guided, progressive exercise in a safe and supportive environment. Sessions are personalized and adjusted regularly to ensure they align with your needs, progress, and overall health.
